Our search process
Theoretically we follow the same route that most top Executive search companies and Head-hunters follow:

Briefing meeting with client
Our objective is to define all parameters, critical business issues, essential requirements, behavioral characteristics and competencies of the position. This meeting is also the start of an emotional commitment to complete the work to find the best possible candidates for the future role with professional excellence.

Finding the best candidates
We identify candidates from three sources: our own professional network and relationships, a systematic and computerized internet research and a direct approach to potential candidates. During this stage we engage ourselves in a deep research aiming to identify all possible candidates for the role. If necessary we will present to you a long list of candidates and after approval we move on in contacting the potential candidates. For some assignments we could agree on additional advertising on job portals and in newspapers.

Approaching the candidates
Approaching the candidates is such a critical activity that this will never be delegated to researchers. The consultant working on the engagement are best prepared to present the opportunity in a compelling way, articulating the nuances of the position and commenting meaningfully on the cultural aspects of the client organization. Given the background and seniority of our consultants, most candidates feel the people approaching them are peers in the business world and usually value their insight and advice; the high quality of the dialogue between our consultants and candidates greatly increases the prospect of attracting the best talent to our client organizations.

Selecting the best candidates
Once we determine that an individual is both qualified and interested in the role, we meet in person for further evaluation. Before presenting any candidate to the client, we conduct a rigorous competency-based interview. Each candidate is assessed and validated against the position specification and a report and recommendation are prepared for the client with our assessment of each candidate’s fit against the specification.  Generally there is growing recognition that how a person does something predicts success better than what his or her qualifications theoretically enable him or her to do. During the interview, our consultants steer away from narrative interviews to focus on the "how" questions. Answers to these questions can be windows into the individual's behavioural characteristics, enabling sensitive judgement of the candidate's ability to perform in the job and adapt to the client organization and culture.

Ensuring closure
After the client has interviewed, assessed and selected the preferred candidate, we conduct at request thorough referencing to further measure and assess competencies, strengths and weaknesses, and to provide our client with external views of the individual. Another major point of leverage in a search is converting a mutual "fit" into an actual hiring. In the war for talent, a skilled and insightful approach to closing a search can make the difference between success and failure. Since we invest in the relationship with candidates through every step of the search process, we are better able to monitor and address concerns about the job or the practical and personal aspects of transitioning as they arise, minimizing barriers to closure at the final stage of a search. As our fees are not connected to the candidate’s remuneration our approach assures objectivity on quantitative aspects of the hiring, allowing our consultant to advise both sides in the negotiations without conflict of interest.

Our after care
We are passionate about assuring that hired candidates make a positive impact that exceeds our clients' expectations. Therefore, we follow up with candidate and client at regular intervals to check on performance and fit. In everything we do we prefer a long-term outlook continuing the bond with candidates and clients leading to trust from candidates and repeat engagements for existing clients. The knowledge that our consultants are motivated by repeat business, rather than individual rewards is the best assurance of superior professional execution.

Practically, as the devil is always in the details, we set ourselves apart focusing on
a deep research of possible candidates of which we will share all the details
openly with you. We will involve you in the progress and give completely
open book regarding the details of candidates that we have been
approaching. We make sure that we complete the research puzzle
and don’t stop researching before we have a complete picture of the agreed
long list of companies and candidates. This approach is unique as other firms
prefer to share only their short-list of candidates without giving the client insight
in their research.
